Conference
With Andy Street and Gavin Williamson MP.
Cradley and Wollescote have areas that are in dire need of regeration and I feel that more can be done to address these issues. These problem areas have been swept under the carpet for far too long. I am working with community groups and businesses in the area to bring prosperity and regeneration to our communities.
Unfortunately we are in a position at the moment where despite having a Conservative Government, our local policing is controlled by a Labour politician in the form of David Jamieson. David Jamieson is the police and crime commissioner for the West Midlands Police force area. If elected I will support our MP to press Mr Jamieson to ensure our police are given the support they need to keep our communities safe.
Areas of Cradley and Wollescote are plagued by anti-social acts of fly-tipping. We have all seen this and we are all paying the costs of cleaning up after these events. I believe that the council should be more pro-active in dealing with these issues. Rather than spending thousands repeatedly cleaning up, more money should be spent to detect and prosecute offenders.
I am an active and hard working candidate for Cradley and Wolescote. You will find me canvasing in the streets and visiting homes in the area. I am also very active within the Conservative Party. I hope that you will lend me your support.
